Industrial Revolution
What: a time of industrial growth and expansion. The invention of machines increased production. One of the outcomes was a movement of people from urban areas into cities for work. This caused many problems such as over crowded cities, industrial areas become littered with slums, exploitation of workers by factory owners, child labour, low wages, dangerous machinery which caused injury.

Why: the Agrarian revolution led to an increase in scientific methods of farming and new technology
